The recorder is probably the most rewarding instrument for immersing yourself in the world of music. It is easy to learn in the early stages and is perfect for little fingers.
This allows you to calmly focus on other musical parameters, such as learning to read music in a relaxed manner, controlling your breath, developing a feel for meter and rhythm, and, of course, and this is very important to me, gaining your first experiences of chamber music right from the start, because making music together is the most fun!
That's why I always accompany my students on the piano or with another, often lower-pitched recorder.

But appearances can be deceiving: the recorder is much more than just a children's toy. It is a wonderful instrument with a wide and amazing range of sounds. Those who master it can take it to great heights.
